Supporting the Bay Area’s Arts/Theatre

I remember as an elementary student, I would always look forward to going to our quarterly “Pays Concert,” a parent/guardian signed permission slip and prepaid concert ticket that a student receives to attend and watch a show at our local theatre (San Mateo Performing Arts Center). I loved it for two main reasons: 1) to get out of school. If you didn’t get your Pays Concert cleared, you would be stuck doing school work in another class which sucked if all your friends went to the concert without you. 2) personally, I loved watching “TV,” and in my household, I wasn’t allowed to watch TV until Saturdays or if my younger cousins were over the house. So, getting out of school to watch “TV” was a definitely a treat.

For several years, I have been lucky to attend several shows especially in the Bay Area, and so, here is my bucket list of entertaining shows that I have or will soon like to attend especially if it comes into town.
